- A jury has been seated in the trial of Indiana man Richard Allen, charged with the 2017 murders of Delphi teens Abby Williams and Libby German. As opening statements near, last-minute legal maneuvers unfolded this week.

- Jury selection for Florida woman Sarah Boone also began this week as her attorneys reveal a sneak preview of what their defense will be when trial kicks off in the next few days. Boone stands accused of second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres. Torres was found dead inside a suitcase inside their Winter Park, Florida home in 2020.

I also touch on several other high-profile cases making headlines this week: the murder trial of Georgia’s Melody Farris, accused of killing her husband and burning his body; a press conference from the Menendez brothers' family and attorney Mark Geragos; the trial of Leilani Simon, accused of killing her toddler after his remains were found in a landfill; sentencing for former politician Robert Telles; the latest in Sean 'Diddy' Combs' legal battles; and Morgan Geyser, who is asking for release from a psychiatric hospital after stabbing a classmate more than a decade ago in the infamous 'Slender Man' case.
