“Let all that you do be done in love.”

1 Corinthians 13:1 (NIV)

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.”

1. Your words without love are unproductive.

1 Corinthians 13:2 (NIV)
“If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, but do not have love, I am nothing.”

2. Offering knowledge and wisdom without love as your motivation means nothing.

3. Faith, without love, doesn’t mean anything.

4. Generosity and sacrifice without being motivated by love are insignificant and self-serving.

Colossians 3:14 (NLT)

“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. These things are important but without love they are nothing.”

What does love look like?
