The classic stories of the Bible hold great relevance for people today! When Moses surrendered to his curiosity and climbed Mount Horeb to see the burning bush, he definitely got much more than he bargained for. He enters into the holy presence of Almighty God! God then commissions Moses to return to Egypt with a message for Pharaoh! It is in this message that we find our sermon. We understand that when we are freed from sin’s slavery, our misery, toil, and hopeless suffering are replaced with a new divine purpose from God! That purpose is sacred and precious, where God’s blessings are stored for us!
