The faith community in Canada is a vibrant part of the fabric of our nation.
Over 65% of Canadians identify with a faith.
In 2021, 53.3% of Canadians identified as being Christian, with Catholics, United, and Anglicans making up the largest portion.
Across Canada, there are an estimated 27,000 church buildings, many regularly giving back to their neighbours to help those in need.
The faith community is the backbone of many food banks, homeless shelters, pregnancy care centres, women's shelters, and more.
The faith community has played an integral part in the history of our nation and across Canada, many municipalities are beginning to intentionally recognize the significant contributions of the Christian faith to our nation by declaring December as Christian Heritage Month.
Here to discuss how their church has blessed the needy with millions of dollars worth of usable goods, and their testimony of adopting Christian Heritage Month, is Pastor Randy Neilson of Brampton Hope City.
