We all were spiritually dead in our sins and were living according to worldly desires. But our salvation has come through God's grace and mercy, not by our effort or merit, to demonstrate God's love even when we were "children of wrath." As believers, we need to live in obedience to God’s prepared works, reflecting the new life they have received in Christ.
