In our Bible reading plan (which you can download for free by the way) we have been reading about David, who was known as being a man after God’s own heart. And it made me ponder why. Why was he called that? Who were the “greats” in the Bible, the fierce women in the Bible, and what traits set them apart? How can we learn from them and cultivate that kind of relationship with God?

This episode is my heart to run after Him: fierce and bold and caring more about what He says than what the world says. How to be counter culture in a society where peer pressure is so much more intense than what it was just a mere 20 years ago. How to stand firmly on who He is calling me to be.
