Today I'm joined by bestselling romance author, Jean Meltzer, to talk about her latest release "Kissing Kosher".
I've been a fan of Jean's writing since her debut romance book, "The Matzah Ball", was published a few years ago. She is one of the first Jewish romance authors I really resonated with, and it's been such a pleasure watching her career flourish!
In this episode we chat about the beginning of Jean's career (who knew she moved to Israel and went to Rabbinical school.... after being nominated for a Daytime Emmy for a career in TV writing?!), what is going on with the movie adaptation of "The Matzah Ball" (and all the epic stars currently attached!!), and of course the genesis of her latest book and the most important key themes surrounding chronic illness and intimacy.
