Lessons from a Woman Serial Entrepreneur and Real Estate Investor

Amelia Misenheimer, a member of our exclusive Facebook group, joins me this week on the podcast to share her entrepreneurial journey. As soon as I heard about Amelia's incredible story, I knew she would be a source of encouragement to those of us who might be contemplating new endeavors post-pandemic 2022 due to the staggering statistics shared:

• 1.8 million of the 5 million women who lost their jobs in 2020 have yet to return.
• One out of four women were considering leaving corporate due to burnout.
• Business coaches are seeing a considerable increase in registration for women launching new businesses

Amelia Misenheimer, business entrepreneur, real estate broker and investor, property manager, and licensed in all things housing, is also in the midst of starting a new business as a coach with an emphasis on real estate investments.

Amelia describes herself as growing up talking about money and had her first bank account at age six years old and remembers writing her first check for a new mountain bike at twelve years old.

She started helping out in the family real estate business as a small child stamping floor plans, cleaning rentals, answering phones, etc. which led her to the mindset hard work = more money - which isn't always true.

She read Rich Dad Poor Dad in high school and that really opened her eyes to passive income, and the different types of work/pay relationships there are in the world. This really started her on the concept of passive income.
