20 My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings.

21 Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart.

22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body.

John 6:63 World English Bible

63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that when you received from us the word of the message of God, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.

1 Corinthians 15:1-2 ESV
”Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.“

There is salvation in that when you trust in Jesus as Lord, you are saved, born again and come into the family of God. (Romans 10:9-10).

There is also a work that God does in you, changing you and transforming you into who He has called you to be. This is part of your salvation and it's a process that happens in our lives when we hold on to His Word.
