WASHINGTON (AP) — Election Day marks the final chapter in one of the most bewildering, unpredictable and consequential sagas in political history. Now, Americans will choose between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. It may take days to know the final result, which could be just another surprise in a campaign that's been full of them.

Quincy Jones has died at age 91. His publicist says he died Sunday night at his home in Los Angeles. Jones' historic career ranged from producing Michael Jackson’s record-setting “Thriller” to prize-winning film and television scores and collaborations with Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles.

Unionized factory workers at Boeing are voting on Monday whether to accept a contract offer or to continue their strike. The walkout has lasted more than seven weeks, shut down production of most Boeing passenger planes and cut off a key source of cash for the company.

Israel says it's terminated the agreement facilitating the work of the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees, the main aid provider in Gaza. It appears to be a first step to implement legislation passed last month that would sever ties with the agency and prevent it from operating in Israel. Israel says the agency, known as UNRWA, has been infiltrated by Hamas, while UNRWA denies the allegations.

BEIJING (AP) — Three Chinese astronauts have returned to Earth after a six-month stay on China’s Tiangong space station.

In entertainment news, Vice President Kamala Harris appears on "Saturday Night Live," rapper Young Thug is set free and it was a "Brat" summer.
