Many times in school, students are told what to do or how to think. For many student when your tough they will shut down and they wont learn and get there classwork. Being tough only promotes fear and it only temporarily changes.. Trust is a crucial factor in any relationship. Students need to be able to trust us and know that we are for them and believe in them no matter what behaviors they exhibit If you layout the ground rules and let the student know that rules are set in place so that each student can learn and be safe.…

Hello everyone My name is Janelle Wright I believe that when you invest yourself in your students you are creating a positive atmosphere in the classroom that enhances your relationship with students and makes them feel important. Caring is one of the six pillars of character education including trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness and citizenship. Student are far more responsive to a teacher who cares and is therefore more likely to learn and engage.
