While Professor Darrell Bock is in the country for Winter Bible School in Te Puke, we grasped the opportunity to have him pop over to Hamilton for the day to speak at HBC.

Prof. Darrell starts us off by discussing how Americans view sports vs the Commonwealth before tying these concepts into his topic for today, discussing what has happened to the Church in recent years. Looking back in Acts 4 and 17, Prof. Darrell looks at how the Church made a difference in its time. Starting in Acts 4, Prof. Darrell looks at two prayer requests from the believers. He then looks at Acts 17 and four points there showcasing the issue of how we speak about God to someone with no theological concepts. Prof. Darrell then wraps up with a challenge for us all.
