This week, my special guest shares her story of having to fight to get her youngest daughter out of the hands of the Department of Social Services, and how she supports other parents going through similar nightmarish situations. After a 30-year career in business development, Susan lives with her husband and four small dogs on an acre outside a small town in Texas. As both an author and poet, Susan’s goal is to inspire others to live a life that’s present and active in this world, yet shaped by forces that lie beyond it. Susan’s books and poetry illustrate her struggles and triumphs as she endeavors to walk by faith and not by sight, leaning on the Holy Spirit for guidance and inspiration in living and writing.
