What is the potential role they can play in the care of cancer patients? In this podcast I speak to Professor Jerome Saris whose expertise is in the use of integrative medicine in the management of mental health conditions and research into psychedelic medicine. As the co-director of a new research center in Australia. We discuss and give a general overview of the potential mechanism of action of some psychedelic therapies and briefly explore the various approaches to therapy and the potential role in improving the mental and spiritual health of patients living with cancer at all stages of the cancer experience.
