Dr. Katherine Ramsland is the Assistant Provost and a forensic psychology professor at DeSales University in Pennsylvania. She has been featured as an expert in criminal psychology on over 200 crime documentaries and magazine shows. Additionally, she has consulted for popular TV shows like CSI, Bones, and The Alienist and is an executive producer of Murder House Flip.
Ramsland is a prolific author with over 69 books and 1,500 articles to her name. Her works include The Forensic Science of CSI, The Forensic Psychology of Criminal Minds, How to Catch a Killer, The Psychology of Death Investigations, and Confession of a Serial Killer: The Untold Story of Dennis Rader, The BTK Killer. She was also a co-executive producer for a four-part documentary based on her conversations with Rader.
Apart from writing, Ramsland also consults on death investigations and has a blog on Psychology Today. She is currently writing a fiction series based on a female forensic psychologist who manages a private investigation agency.
