Just as we settled on expanding to 12 teams a couple weeks ago, we are now headed toward expanding the college football playoff to 14 teams. One would wonder, if this is inevitable, why not jump to 16? A lot of this fails to make sense and it absolutely continues to water down the importance of regular season Saturday afternoons!
