今天跟大家来聊一聊名字这个话题。

我的中文名字一共有三个字，第一个字是我爸爸的姓。

那么在中文里面，我们通常会把姓放在第一个字。

那我名字里的第二个字呢，是我妈妈的姓。这个在中文的名字里面，并不是非常常见的事情。

可是因为我的妈妈，也想要在我的名字里面作为一部分出现，所以她也把自己的姓放在了我的名字里面。

而我的第三个字呢叫“琳”。

这个“琳”是一个“王”字旁，然后两个“木”的这个“琳”。

它代表的意思就是“美玉”——美丽的玉

所以我的名字的含义就是我的爸爸妈妈的姓，再加上他们对我的一个期望，就是变成一个好像美玉一样美丽、漂亮、纯洁的这么一个人。

So in Chinese, we usually put the surname as the first character. So for the second character in my name, that is my mum's surname. This is not a very common thing in a Chinese name. But since my mum also would like to "appear" in my name, that's why she also put her surname in my name.

And my third character is ”琳”. This 琳 is with a 王 *radical，and then two ”木”(wood) to make it “琳”. The meaning it represents is "美玉" —— beautiful jade.
