• Despite their pagan background and powerful influence in the Babylonian or Persian courts, the Magi recognize and worship the Christ child for who he is.
• Their worship of Jesus was accompanied by gifts of great value. They brought their best to Jesus in worship. (Gold, frankincense, and myrrh)
• The invitation to know Jesus is for those who see him for who he is, the king, the savior of the world.
