The Morning Footy crew react to the 2024 Ballon d'Or list of nominees, from the surprises to the snubs. The group debate who's missing and who shouldn't be on said list. There appears to be no clear cut favorite to win this year and it also marks the first time both Messi and Ronaldo have not been in the running since 2003. So this mean we'll have a guaranteed first time winner for the men. On the women's side, the discussion surrounding the nominees has all been about someone not on said list, arguably the world's best defender, Naomi Girma. A stark omission and oversight for sure.
