Close and careful reading is training that few possess, much less practice. But what if the Scriptures were not meant to just be accessed, but rather meditated upon: slowly and deeply? This week as we discuss what the ancients called Lectio Divina, i.e. "divine reading"; how might the practice of slowing down and contemplating through the Scriptures connect us deeply with God?
