State officials have implemented unprecedented fishing restrictions on the North Fork Flathead River due to record water temperatures and dropping flows. The new Bigfork library, located at 186 Bridge Street, is set to open on August 6 after years of planning and fundraising, featuring expanded space and new resources. Additionally, three ballot initiatives, including changes to primary elections and enshrining reproductive rights in the Montana Constitution, have collected enough signatures to likely appear on the 2024 general election ballot.
