Johnny Mac speaks about chart success, Celtic and Shane MacGowan

John speaks about his incredible career in the music industry which has seen him write three chart topping hits as well as a number of top 10 entries and he shares his memories of working with massive names such as Massive Attack, Westlife and Busted.

The songwriter, who is a Celtic season ticket holder, also reflects on his life as a Celtic supporter and what it means to him to hear his music with Johnny Mac and the Faithful reverberating around Celtic Park on matchdays.

John will take to the stage at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his show ‘For the Love of Shane MacGowan’ where he pays tribute to the legendary frontman of The Pogues, and speaking to the Official Celtic FC Podcast, John shares memories of working and partying with MacGowan as he looks ahead to the upcoming shows in the capital.
