In November of 2020, the world of entrepreneurship lost an incredible leader and business icon with Tony’s Hsieh’s tragic passing. I was lucky enough to have spent time with Tony over the years and always looked up to him as someone who reinvented customer service while creating a culture-first company at Zappos and community built on passion and the quest for providing happiness. For the first episode of Over the Wall, I had the honor of being joined by Alfred Lin & Fred Mossler, two of Tony’s best friends and early Zappos executives, for an intimate and insightful conversation about Tony's core values, early challenges and inspirations, his unique leadership style, and how he took Zappos to unimaginable heights by attention to persistence and partnership in the face of challenges.
