Installing Python 3.8.0+ on your Mac with pyenv
Manage episode 311855938 series 3193665
In this episode, I discuss how I recently wrote a post entitled Installing the latest version of Python on Mac OS Catalina and overriding the old default pre-installed version about installing Python 3.7.7 on Mac OS Catalina with Homebrew. Python 3.7.7 was the latest version of Python that one could install < 3.8.0. At the time, I was totally okay with that. That was before I discovered the Mkdocs documentation generator, which requires Python 3.8.2. It also supports 3.8.3. I checked to make sure!
