Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
This week I look ahead to the games we know about so far that are coming in 2024. Already off to a good start with some early heavy hitters like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but we only really know half the year so far. I give you my picks for my most anticipated of the crop so far, and then my predictions for what kind of things we are going to see happen in the industry this year. I surprised myself by having more predictions than I initially thought I would have for this year, but we will eventually see how accurate I am. Lastly I have a few new year's resolutions for the show that I wanted to put out there, including a list of 5 games that I pledge to complete for future episodes. We will revisit all of this at the end of this year of beginning of 2025 to see how close I was to these predictions and resolutions.
