Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a topic or theme along with my take on current happenings in the world of tabletop role-playing games and semi regular updates on the games I am currently involved with, or new games or products I have come across.
Wizards of the Coast recently did a big roadmap reveal of what is to come with their celebrations for the 50th anniversary of D&D! This would normally be relegated to the news segment of the show, but the information released was too big for that so I decided to really dive in and dissect their events and releases announced (and the "controversy" surrounding some of it). Exciting stuff is on the horizon, and I am glad that WotC finally broke the silence on their plans for D&D's golden anniversary. Tune in to hear what is in store, and some of my thoughts on these announcements!
