This is Rednecks Rising Podcast hosted by two loud-mouthed Appalachian women who are excited to bring you along on this journey as we dive into the rich history behind the evolution of revolution across Appalachia and sit down for interviews with all of the best hillbilly hellraisers that call these hollers their home.
Starting June 14th, every Tuesday morning we will drop a new episode where we’ll alternate between interview-style episodes and be hearing from radical Appalachians from up and down the mountain range doing badass work in mutual aid, harm reduction, abortion care, sex work, direct action against the police state and environmental destruction, and more.
In between interview episodes, Chelsea and Heather will taking turns digging into exciting topics and sharing our learnings with each other and with y’all! Topics in the queue may just include things like Bootlegging & Nascar, of course The classic Battle on Blair Mountain, The History of Multi-Racial Working Class Organizing, and more.
