Are we any closer to an interest rate cut?

Wages are now growing at their slowest annual pace in three years and yesterday's job figures came in as expected, remaining steady in October, at 4.1 per cent.

But neither of those indicators are likely to change the Reserve Bank's thinking on official interest rates, when the board meets early next month — for its last meeting of the year. So, when can we expect a rate cut?
