Gethin grew up in a dysfunctional family where he was emotionally and physically abused and was often moved in between foster care and living with his biological mother. He was taken away from his family at a young age, which led to a pattern of self-destruction and a 20-year relationship with the criminal justice system. It was in 2006, at the age of 34, that he decided to change, believe in himself, and completely transform both his personal and professional life.
