If you've ever been to Utah, chances are you've been to Kneaders Bakery & Café. In this episode, we chat with Colleen Worthington -- more than 25 years ago, Colleen and her husband Gary pursued their passion for artisanal bread baking and opened their first bakery in Orem, Utah. Kneaders has grown to over 50 locations spanning Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Texas, and Utah, and so has the Kneaders family behind the scenes. Colleen recently released a cookbook, Kneaders Bakery & Cafe: A Celebration of Our Best Recipes and Memories, to celebrate this milestone. In this episode, we chat about some of their beloved recipes, from deep-fried scones with pie filling to the secrets behind Nana's pumpkin pie. We also talk about some of the people who have become part of the Kneaders family in more ways than one.
