Growth Mindset For The Win!

Today we’re talking about the next step in getting unstuck–and that’s adopting a growth mindset!
This is where things get exciting–the process I’m going to teach you today can be really fun and rewarding. I’m going to give you a three step process to shifting your worldview by adopting a growth mindset, and some neuroscience behind why it works.
First, defining mindset: a mindset is a set of beliefs and attitudes that you have about the world that influences the emotions you feel and the actions you take in response. Most of these were developed in childhood, and need to shift as you grow and experience life.
Imagine that your mindset is like a garden. Here are 3 steps to cultivating a growth mindset:
- Become the watcher.
- Become the detective.
- Become the cheerleader.
Your brain is always trying to conserve energy, so the changes won’t happen on their own. Notice the wins, prioritizing process and progress and congratulate yourself for that. Discover the power of “yet.”
