The plaintiff says the defendant is a former friend who told him he could use his time share in Aruba. The defendant canceled at the last minute after the plaintiff had purchased plane tickets, so he’s suing for what he’s out. The defendant says he had to chase down the plaintiff for payment, and his check arrived late.

The plaintiff says she was going to buy a puppy from the defendant, but she changed her mind and wants her money back, and she’s suing. The defendant says he thought he could trust the plaintiff, but she backed out. He agreed to return some of the money, but not all of it.
