Having gone face to face with the public, and with a message most either haven't thought about on any given day, or are outright hostile to, he has no doubt learned many things about humans. But mostly, he understands the war we are in, the idea that we are pilgrims and strangers in a hostile land as a whole. Can any of us take on the public square? Are we equipped?
