Patrick was ranked as high as #28 in Singles and #3 in doubles as a player himself. He has been the General Manager of Player Development at the USTA and have had the longest stint in history as the 38^th Davis Cup Captain of the United States which included the overall victory in 2007. Currently Patrick is working at the McEnroe Academy in New York, he is broadcasting for ESPN and recently started his own Tennis Podcast called “Holding Court”
