Episode 26: Five Summer Read Alouds
This week's episode of the Creative Homeschool podcast dives into Summer Reading and I'm recommending five fun books for you to enjoy with your family. The books are diverse in their characters and storylines, making them suitable for a variety of interests. Some are mystery and adventure, while others are humorous or fantasy.
Studies show that reading together with your kids can foster a love for books, spark imagination, and enhance their cognitive development. Moreover, summer reading can help prevent the summer slide, where students lose some of the academic gains made during the school year.

The Adventure Is Now by Jess Redman, which takes place on an island and involves mystery and adventure
Race to the Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse, a diverse book full of Navajo mythology, adventure, and humor, suitable for fans of Percy Jackson.
