Just two people going through the motions of ‘well I will answer these questions b/c you all are bitching about it but I don’t want to be here’ is what I got from it. Neither one of them is likable or inspirational. Her candidacy will not get a boost from this interview. She had these answers memorized you could just tell. In the radio business you are told often TALK don’t READ. Ronald Reagan radio response to nomination of Michael Dukakis. If I were running her campaign I would say no more interviews.
17m 27m	The BIG Story of the Day is Donald Trump The complete and now total betrayal of the pro-life cause is just stunning. I broadcast this yesterday. Who is on his campaign team? He discusses IVF and the Prop 4 in Florida. He stated he would make all insurance companies pay for IVF. I’m just yelling at the screen ready to throw in the white towel of surrender. You have the editor of Crisis Magazine leading the charge on JD Vance being denied Holy Communion on this one. You can’t support IVF and receive Communion. Holy Mother Church is very very clear on IVF. This is a moral doctrine and teaching. This is 100% an unforced error. The pro-abort women will not support you Trump. They will not belive you on this one! Why is he pandering to that group of people? To court their votes, it just unbelievable. HEADLINE: More human embryos destroyed through IVF than abortion every year by Tyler Arnold He went beyond the Obama promise even yesterday. He said the government would pay for it all. That means if I am a W-2 wage person, I am subsidizing the killing of embryos. IVF clinics do not report the exact number of embryos that are killed in their care, but clinics normally extract between 10 and 15 eggs for one treatment. According to the IVF clinic chain Illume Fertility, if the clinic extracts 12 eggs, about 80% — nine or 10 eggs — will be viable and about 80% of viable eggs will successfully fertilize to create embryos — making about seven or eight embryos per patient. The CDC estimates that more than 238,000 patients attempted IVF in 2021. If clinics created between seven and eight embryos for every patient, that would yield about 1.6 million to 1.9 million over a year. Despite these high numbers, fewer than 100,000 embryos were brought to term, which suggests that somewhere between 1.5 million and 1.8 million embryos created through IVF were never born. Alternatively, the abortion industry claimed about 985,000 lives from July 2022 through June 2023 — suggesting that the IVF industry could be ending nearly twice as many human lives every year. What is the answer to this? What does JD Vance do at this point? Trump keeps bringing up Ronald Reagan and the acceptors on abortion.

WHO is advising him to pledge federal funds to kill embryos which are humans!? This is also unconstitutional and basically conscripts every W-2 employee into directly subsidizing death. IUI is not the same as IVF. IUI or Intrauterine Insemination – a type of artificial insemination, is a fertility treatment where sperm is placed directly into a person’s uterus. During a natural conception, sperm has to travel from your vagina through your cervix, into your uterus and to your fallopian tubes. A general IVF session, typically there are 10-15 eggs extracted at that one time. Those are babies, if life begins at conception, you have created life. I know a set of triplets conceived out of IVF. The rest of the eggs that are fertilized are babies, that is life created. Say I’m speaking to someone and their child was conceived by IVF, I am not making fun of you, we are not going backwards in time we must move forward. Nothing good ever comes from this. CIVICS 101 So in the argument of things if you said we will pay for IVF w/ a tax on wine or tequila that would be an indirect tax. Congress was only granted the authority to pass INDIRECT taxes. The power to tax in Article 1 Section 8 is very clear. Article 1 Section 8 : The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States; . . . The power to tax something indirectly means you can avoid it. This is an important difference. Now you may be able to get it all back in the form of a refund. At the very least your money is being confiscated throughout the course of the year to kill babies. You can’t avoid that tax. Who advised him to do this? Dr Taylor Marshall on X: Trump gains zero votes by promising to give away free IVF procedures and meanwhile isolates and demoralizes MILLIONS of voters by pushing tax-payer funded IVF. DeSantis – It is the mutilation of minos that’s harming people. It is wrong to do this. This is all based on junk science and ideology.
	BACK TO DREHER The pro-life movement wasn’t anything approaching a majority and hasn’t been for nearly a decade plus if not further, going back to 2015 and the left’s decisive victory in the culture war. You can bemoan that, condemn it, and refuse to accept it, but you need to deal with actual electoral politics where they actually are as opposed to where you would prefer them to be from the 1980s to the Bush administration if you are running a political movement. The entirety of pro-life politics after Dobbs was a master class in how not to run a movement. Rather than recognize the electoral realities and adapt to them, there was instead a clear attempt to implement laws, standards, and mores that were never going to prevail under current demographics, particularly in a hostile media and cultural environment. This is going to be true for any serious attempt to achieve cultural reversals, so the idea that this is limited to abortion politics is laughable. Exactly which conservative cultural cause can be championed without this kind of resistance? The idea that this dooms the right in electoral terms is cope. Trump already has his personality cult, a solid 40% of the GOP, that will support more or less anything he wants. The pro-life movement is unable to muster the ability to achieve its preferred results in electoral terms in even the reddest of red states. At this point, abortion referendums are for the right what gay marriage referendums were for the left throughout the 2000s and unless the right is prepared to shift the culture they are going to continue to suffer defeat after defeat on this score. The argument after Trump’s 2016 win was that the cultural conservative “real America” can prevail against all the machinations of the left was always a self-serving cope. The left won the culture war and the Great Awokening occurred more or less on Trump’s watch, with zero pushback or reversal. None of this has changed and cultural conservatives are in a worse position today than they were in 2016 by far, one that has not been helped by turning Trump into a cult icon.

She has the power suit, she has the shoulder pads and she is woman hear her roar but she needed a male wingman to do her first interview? Maggie is right – the pro-life movement sucks. Not very many of us actually belive and are willing to do what is necessary to have a cult of life. We are never talking about people who are incapable of having a baby. It is never intended to be an insult or uncharitable to those people. Changing the Culture! Where are the true blue Lifers? They seem to have left the battlefield. This is the mote, hope and cope among us. Why don’t we ever hear people especially pro-life people talk about adoption and fixing the adoption processes? We have thousands of children in need of good homes and families. Where is the path forward?
1h48m	BACK to Rod Dreher I admit that I am shocked that Trump is going so far, so fast, on embracing the pro-choice position. Poor J.D. Vance, whom I know to be a real pro-life Catholic, must be humiliated by all this (and please don’t be absurd enough to say that he should stand up to his running mate on this issue; the No. 2 on the presidential ticket would do such a thing, or should; there’s a reason why they are No. 2). Still, it also surprises me that so many pro-lifers are gobsmacked by the fact that the American people support abortion rights, by and large. I thought we were pushing for the abolition of Roe because it was a badly-reasoned decision that removed the abortion issue from democratic debate. Were there people who really thought overturning Roe would be more or less the end of abortion rights, as distinct from turning it back to the states, thereby making it politically possible to restrict, or even ban, abortion? I guess there were. If Trump wins, having abandoned us, we’re dead politically. If he loses, and his loss can be traced to pro-lifers staying home, we be as good as dead as the rest of the Right scapegoats us for our role in allowing the radical-woke Left to triumph. I think Maggie is right, Trump is a numbers guy. He is reading all these polls and referendums and seeing what is passing. American pro-lifers talk a good game but when it comes down to it, they really want the abortion option. All these pro-life leaders have massive homes, speaking at galas, asking for $20,000 per speaking event…it has all been a grift! At the end of the day…it was one big grift. How do you put that Genie back into the bottle? You think about what has been done now, what is the remedy? QUESTION: Should the Crusade Radio Network broadcast anymore of the Trump campaign? I won’t be a party to that. I thought I was doing a public service by broadcasting these events. I won’t air ‘kill babies’ over my airwaves.

Every time things like this act like they just can’t believe this well look at your own church. Look at your own family. The vast majority of Americans believe there is nothing wrong w/ IVF. They don’t truly understand what happens with IVF. Do you feel betrayed or misguided? I knew who he was from the very beginning. I think they hate him b/c he is willing to keep us out of wars etc. You are in Florida and Trumps endorsement of Prop 4. I don’t think the endorsement will have as much influence on this as he thinks. Governor Ron DeSantis and others are full bore against it and have been putting money behind it. Babylon Bee put over $100,000 to help defeat Prop 4 in Florida. We don’t have leaders. Most people are not against abortion. When it comes down to it, they truly aren’t against abortion. We have a PR problem, we Catholics have been losing since 1960. When JFK went into that Baptist church and said he wouldn’t let his Catholicism interfere w/ his presidential obligations. Does it make a difference for me and you to say anything about it? He should be denied Communion. He is on a ticket that supports intrinsic evil. JD Vance is doing what Biden has done. There is a difference as to what we call out and what we do with voting. The Church never stated that – You cannot vote for a pro-abortion candidate. What about RFK Jr on abortion? I thought the same thing. This is an unforced error that makes him look weak. Trump seems to be terrified to be associated w/ a national abortion ban. I thought he was the guy in charge and wasn’t scared. I feel it is an unforced error. I feel the pro-life voters are a big section of his voting block but not the full voting block. He is officially going against them now.

I think what is happening in Florida is more of a political move. This is Donald Trump trying to bully Ron DeSantis and say this is MY state not yours. I think this is a power move on his part. He is giving into the downside here I feel. What woman has entered his sphere? Tulsi Gabbard and Nicole Shanahan – He obviously isn’t listening to his wife Melania on IVF b/c she knows better. The necessary evil – they have gotten into his head. He has now decided that it is worth it to signal he is willing to go left on abortion. She has never been like a Hillary Clinton pushing things on her husband. Massive Christian right-wing – she could get Christian moms out to vote but Nicole Shanahan cannot. Melania is nowhere to be found. CNN Interview – They have NO CHEMISTRY He looked more stately than she does. This interview was a disaster in my opinion and I don’t think this will play well. We need to reach out to Trump and his campaign and let him know this is NOT a winning policy and he must correct course. What votes do Democrats give away? NONE They never leave anything on the table. This always happens we do what we should as good Christian women and men and he just doesn’t vet people the way he should. The same thing he did the first time.
