The Hacks return with the Top Target Series, this week turning our attention to the Metropolitan Division. Joining us for this episode is a special guest and friend of the show - Blake Creamer (Apples & Ginos)! Thanks to Blake for joining us, aside from the fantastic fantasy insight, he's always a great guest and an entertaining listen.
This is the third installment in the series, covering players of interest for each division. A “Top Target” is defined as a player that will be undervalued by current ADP and/or we believe they are in for a big season based on underlying numbers or a new role. Essentially, these are players that we feel should be prioritized for one reason or another. Our focus will be largely on players that can be found in the mid or late rounds of a 12-team redraft league.
HIGHLIGHTS:

• Martin Necas. Top tier deployment, great shot rate and a low acquisition cost? Yes please!
• Dougie Hamilton. With Luke Hughes sidelined for 6-8 weeks, Hamilton has an opportunity to cement his place on the first power play unit.
• Tristan Jarry or Alex Nedeljkovic? Which goalie claims the crease? Can they bounce-back after a lackluster 2023-24?
• Player Projections. For each player we discussed their outlook and provided projections based on a complete 82-game season.
