The Good Citizen Podcast

The Good Citizen Podcast launched in February of 2017, and I am so grateful for the listeners and the supporters of our ministry that have made this podcast possible during the last six years. Just a few minor developments have occurred in America public life since 2017! I started the podcast with a simple question: “As followers of Jesus that are also called to be good citizens, what should we do now?” There are a number of news sources and political pundits, but I did not see enough shows/programs giving Biblical guidance and practical information on how to live out the Christian faith in public life. That is what we set out to do, and I am so encouraged by the response and the number of practical conversations we have had with key national voices and local ministry leaders. I am looking forward to continuing the conversation as we pass the 300 episode milestone and prepare for 2024!

Challenges

1. The religious left is rising.
2. The sexual revolution has moved from acceptance to enforcement.
3. The church has a pendulum problem.

Conclusion:

As John Stonestreet says, “The church is God’s plan A, and there is no plan B.”
