Summary

As Kai and the Earthen leaders attempt an escape, the Lunar aristocrats halt their progress. But when Kai presents an ultimatum, the Lunar families must choose between the safety they expect, and the circumstances of their reality.

Cress has successfully uploaded the video and Levana’s true self, and people are taking notice! As one guard distrusts here, and one technician praises her, she uses the opportunity to recruit for Selene’s side!

Scarlet and Wolf are once again reunited, and though his face has changed, his heart hasn’t. Once an alpha, always an alpha…or something like that.

Iko is disappointed that her android mind won’t allow her to see Queen Levana’s famed beauty, and she hates being left behind while Cinder fights the queen on her own. Good thing the handsome, though slightly annoying, guard Kenney is there for company.

Iko and Kenney find Kai and the others and assist in their escape. Kai is beyond relief to learn of Cinder’s safety, but their celebration is short lived as their need to evacuate intensifies with every passing moment.
