Hello again Fellow Racing Ear Enthusiasts,
I got another chance to have a chat with Rick Knoop about his experience racing in Historic Formula 1. We spoke about what it was like to spectate at the Long Beach Grand Prix when Formula 1 would come to the west coast to have its second race in the United States opposite Watkins Glen in Upstate New York. We talked about the Masters Historic Formula 1 series and how it began in the early 2000's. We spoke about his experience driving the 1979 Tyrrell 009 that was driven by Didier Pironi. We also spoke about racing on many major circuits in North America and in Australia at Phillip Island. In this episode we had some laughs and we had some needs for oxygen.
