During this episode, we chopped it up about his signature moniker, musical upbringings/inspirations and listening to Golden Era Hip Hop. Rèmi MZ talked about his move from France to Mexico, finding a new love, coming into fatherhood and finding purpose in the midst of uncertainty. He shared his Greatest Beat of All Time from The Beatnuts “A Musical Massacre” - Watch Out Now. He names his Beatmaker/Music Producer Superheros. Rèmi MZ started creating music with Akai MPC 2000 then MPC 1000. He then started creating in IOS app Beatmaker then transferred over too Logic Pro but needed a tactile feel when creating music. In comes Elf Audio’s Koala Sampler. He talks about his albums "French Tacos and Puff Puff Jazz”. He describes what the local Beat-Scene looks like in Mexico from his perspective. We talked about the creation of his Koala Beatcast which is a weekly stream based on providing one sample and Beatmakers/Music Producers/Composers have 2 hours to flip it. The music is played for the audience in the same vein of “steele sharpens steel”. Rèmi MZ left crazy jewels and inspiring words for Beatmakers and detailed what's in store for 2023.
