Highlights of the Psalm:

No matter how courageous we are we need like David in verses 1-2 to appeal to God to rise up and deal with enemies we are fighting _________________________ we are His people.

There is beautiful poetic image given as David makes His point in verses 15-16. He could just say that Mount Zion (Jerusalem) had a special role in God’s plan for Israel as it became the home of the Ark . Instead, he pictures Bashan and other “trans-Jordan” mountain peaks being ____________________ of Sinai and Zion for their special roles in God’s plans.
