With the threat of rain in the forecast, Stu was delighted when Kane Williamson won the toss and sent Sri Lanka in to bat. From there, things went pretty much to script for the Black Caps (aside from a few wickets towards the end of their chase), with early wickets to Trent Boult and another Mitchell Santner masterclass highlighting the bowling effort.

Baldy and Stu discuss the positives and the areas still to tidy up for New Zealand, plus all the permutations for Pakistan and Afghanistan as their task to pass the Black Caps to secure a semi-final spot became much tougher after this result.
