This episode talks about mental health as it impacts men. Together the host of the podcast discusses creative ways that men can improve their mental health, the importance of talking about mental health difficulties versus putting them under the rug or pretending that it is not real, and tips on self-awareness. The podcast host, Matt (F3 Hall Pass) shares insight into his life and how mental health has continued to be a working area of progress. The host shares his utilization of journal writing, practicing gratitude, and spending quality time with peers such as the F3 group as ways that support his mental health.

The goal of today's episode is to bring further awareness to the topic of mental health and manhood. We focus on why there is such a stigma around mental health with men and how men can work daily to improve their mental health and overall quality of life. Topics discussed in the podcast episode include why it's difficult for men to talk about their mental health, how we can encourage men to talk about their mental health, what are common mental health problems among males, and the importance of starting with recognizing that there is an issue.
