This shift introduces knowledge, skills, and values necessary for Haitian children to face their country’s challenges1.
   • Systemic approach: The curriculum encompasses more than just educational programs. It includes guiding documents, evaluation practices, pedagogical materials, and teacher practices. Ensuring coherence and alignment across all levels is crucial1.
2. Quality Enhancement:
   • Teacher training: Invest in teacher professional development to improve teaching methods, classroom management, and student engagement.
   • Assessment practices: Implement effective and regular assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement2.
3. Access and Equity:
   • Universal access: Strive for universal access to education by addressing barriers such as lack of infrastructure, teacher shortages, and financial constraints.
   • Equitable distribution: Ensure that educational resources are distributed fairly across urban and rural areas, reducing disparities in access and quality.
   • Inclusion: Prioritize marginalized groups, including girls, children with disabilities, and those from low-income backgrounds34.
4. Public-Private Collaboration:
   • Balance public and private efforts: While 80% of the system is privately driven, collaboration between public and private sectors can enhance education quality.
   • Financial support: Seek financial support from international organizations like the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to fund education reforms
