⦿⦿ElectriX Podcast⦿⦿ Hey guys! Who’s up for a vinyl session this week? I invited Fabian Weiss to one of his vinyl sessions and he prepared a great minimalistic technoid mix. He is originally from Zürich but lives in Berlin since 2018. He is an experienced DJ and a fresh but eager producer, nowadays spending most of his time in his studio - not caring about the August sun this year. Like the Mix? Click the [Repost] 🔁 button so more people can hear it! ———————————————————————————————————— Bio: Fabian fell in love with Berlin as a young rave tourist, yet he moved there much later at the age of 29. The metropole having so much to offer, Fabian immediately got involved in lots of cultural activities (such as dance and standup comedy) so that he almost forgot why he came there in the first place : Techno. It took a pandemic for him to finally seriously start investing in music, when he bought more professional equipment, started djing with vinyls and recently started to produce his own music. As a DJ and collector, Fabian has explored many styles over time and also today, he will vary his style quite unobstructedly depending on the time you put him on the lineup. But his music always carries the signature of his taste for minimalistic, forward driving beats nourished with modular elements, often decorated with clean and subtle repetitive melodies - whether it is in Techno or in Tech House. Also in his productions, he moves around Techno, keeping a rather clean sound usually known from Tech House, exploring the spectrum in between Techno and House where they merge or create tension.
