But mid-pandemic, co-founder Robert "Bert" Brunner and his brother Will decided to take a big risk - quit producing clothes for others and turn Devereux into its own clothing brand! Devereux was re-born as a fresh new take in the stale world of golf clothing with a no rules style catering to the next generation of golfers. 3 years later and with all eyes on Arizona for the Waste Management Open and the Super Bowl this past week, the Arizona-based brand found itself at the center of the golf universe. Co-founder and creative director, Robert "Bert" Brunner joins the show this week to share how his brand ended up collaborating with Michelob Ultra on clothes for a Caddyshack-inspired Super Bowl commercial, gives us the real real on what happens at the Waste Management Open, discusses the best golf in Arizona, and chats about the role community plays in building a golf brand.
