For our January "Under The Hood", we welcome KG Charles-Harris who is the Founder and CEO of Quarrio.
KG Charles-Harris was an early pioneer of the Big Data and Analytics markets. In 1994 he co-founded SoftCom, and later EMANIO, developing data integration tools for enterprise systems. He launched the first combined tools for business intelligence dashboarding and predictive analytics in 2009. As CEO of Quarrio, he is using artificial intelligence technologies (natural language processing, machine learning, neural networks) to make it easy for non-technical users to get insights from big data. He is considered an expert in the field, and Quarrio was awarded the Software and Internet Industry Association’s ( SIIA ) NextGen Award for Big Data in 2 categories – “Best Overall” and “Most Disruptive”.
