Lana Patel (she/her) is changing the world by sharing her story as an Afro-Indian Caribbean trans woman and first-generation American. Currently, she is the Community Partnerships Manager of Plume, an organisation that offers quality, accessible, and convenient gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy for the transgender community.
In this episode, we discuss how important gender affirming healthcare is, what that looks looks like, and the dangers of not having it available. This is part one of three part series for Transgender Day of Visibility celebrated on March 31st!
