• A report has found instability at our only WA juvenile detention centre with affected proper delivery of education services. The Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services report, released yesterday, found education was "one of the biggest casualties" of a lack of strategic direction at the Banksia Hill Juvenile Detention Centre. • Our Around the Towns chat with the Shire of Toodyay- Merredith let us know about the Strategic Community Survey that is still able to be sent back, we've got some great transporting help with the big AFL Derby on the way and she also let us know about the services that will be on for ANZAC Day.
• Penny Keep from the Volunteering WA Wheatbelt Hub let us know about the kind of work she does there as a referral officer and the fact that there are lots of positions going at the moment
